We are excited to announce the latest updates to the Seneca blockchain, which include improved security features and easier credential querying. The advances enhance the performance of the network and create a streamlined experience for users. Key updates:
- PoA consensus and improved security: We have implemented a multi-signature process for authenticating binary upgrades and allowing new nodes to join our Testnet environment. This is a critical step towards the Mainnet.
- Signature verifications: Signatures are now verified on-chain within the runtime for issuer, creator, subject, and holder fields, providing an additional layer of security to the network.
- Easier credential querying: Schemas and credentials can now be accessed through a unique identifier, making reading state easier and enabling schema updates without reprogramming identifiers.
These updates will greatly improve the experience and performance. We are moving at breakneck speed towards developing the next generation blockchain.
